Big news came up for an increase in the retirement age limit. Let me inform you all that through the Telangana government, an important meeting of the cabinet is to be held on June 5 and all employees are keeping an eye on the same and further speculations are that during the cabinet meeting, i.e. on the 5th of June, the government is going to take many big decisions regarding the retirements of her employees. Let me tell you for this matter of increase of retirement age limit is not the matter of just one state but of the whole state, and the whole country, and the employees are in favor of extending the retirement age to 65 years of any worker.
The Retirement Age Of The Employees Will Be This Many Years
The retirement of the employees will be this many years. Just to inform you, at present, the age limit of state employees is 61 years, which may be enhanced by the government to either 64 or 65 years, the whole nation thus having eyes fixed on the cabinet meeting which is to be held on June 5. And there it is going to be finally approved. The eyes of not only the felicitous Telangana employees but employees of all states have been fixed on this cabinet meeting set for June 5. Although others will not be benefitted with an increased age limit, but if at all this limit is increased for this state, it will offer precedence for the employees and they will demand for their age limit increase in their state also.
There Should Be An Age Limit For Retirement As 65 Years For All
The demand will be passed on by the employees that the age for retirement of all should be 65 years. At present, the respective age limit is being increased for all the government employees across the country. Till now, the demand of the employees was a long-standing one for the restoration of the old pension scheme. However now, in addition to the restoration of the old pension scheme, the employees will also demand an increase in the retirement age limit. The employees say that when the employees are retired at age 60, when this can be said that their mental and physical health is completely fine, then they should be allowed a few more opportunities to remain in service so that the department gets additional benefit.
